About the Role :

As part of the Graduate programme, you will join a structured and well-developed 2-year programme. You will work on projects across our commodity intelligence business www.icis.com.

  • You will be part of the London based team working 1-2 days per week in the office.
  • You will gain exposure to different tools, stakeholders and diverse insights into customer needs, priorities, and expectations.
  • You will experience different research methodologies and approaches which will enrich your knowledge and skillset.

This is a fantastic Graduate role where we will support you to progress your career and nurture your development. We have a very active UX Research and Design community which works collectively to share best practice and keep each other up to date on the latest tools and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to empathize with users, understanding their needs and the problems they face
  • Be able to craft compelling narratives based on research findings to drive user-centred decision-making and be a strong communicator.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience conducting primary research like surveys, interviews, usability testing, ethnography, etc. (can be coursework or work experience)
  • Studying or have studied a degree or higher qualification in a related discipline e.g. Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), psychology, sociology, or anthropology. Candidates from other disciplines are encouraged to apply if you can demonstrate your grasp of UX research methods
  • Possess a keen interest in conducting research to enhance user experience for digital and data products
  • Able to quickly learn new research and analysis methods and tools – some familiarity with UX research methods and tools is a plus!

Training & Development

You will receive a blend of technical and people skills development. This is important as it’s not just what you do, but how you do it that is important to us.Initially you will be immersed into an intensive, but rewarding induction bootcamp and will be part of a wider graduate community with frequent socials including charity days and diversity and inclusion events. We work to a 70/20/10 learning model with 70% of your learning on the job, 20% informal learning and 10% from formal educational learning.
