Position: User Experience Researcher Co-op/Intern

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in Human psychology, anthropology, or sociology. or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a part of our team, you will:
Bring knowledge of methodology and practices of social science research.
Will support cross-functional team members to define and prioritize research and to develop UX metrics.
You will support and conduct empirical research to understand and extract meaningful patterns of user behaviour.
Your research will generate user experience insights that will move our products forward.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Interdisciplinary collaboration with designers, engineers, developers, and product teams
Experience in applied product research and design thinking techniques is an asset. An empathetic, human-centric approach to research is a must.
Strong ability to communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways.
Experience moderating qualitative research.

It would be nice if you also had:
User experience tools & skills such as Figma, and design thinking skills.
A portfolio of work you’ve done that demonstrates the research methods that you learned about user needs while conducting the research.
