The Service Designer will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of innovation across the organization. They will be responsible for designing and implementing service solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and to coach team members in adopting new methodologies and mindsets. Role Purpose
The purpose of the Service Designer role in the UNSW Innovation Accelerator Program is to conceptualize and design services that enhance the innovation ecosystem at UNSW, with a specific focus on coaching and building design capabilities within UNSW IT. This role is dedicated to delivering customer-centered solutions and involves applying design thinking and user-centered design methodologies to create impactful services. The Service Designer is responsible for guiding UNSW IT in adopting these methodologies, ensuring the services developed are effective, efficient, and aligned with UNSW's strategic goals, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
