Laurel Strategies is a global CEO advisory and strategic communications firm for the world’s most visionary executives, corporations and institutions. We are seeking high-performing design interns who thrive in small teams and fast-paced settings to join our team for the Spring of 2025. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Upper classmen student pursuing study in visual design, graphic design, or UX/UI
- Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma)
- Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and design skills
- Understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
- Foundational design process that can be modified to match the current task at hand
- Previous office/internship experience and a high level of professionalism
- Keen eye for detail
- Experience with project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using social media in a professional atmosphere and familiarity with SEO
- Background in basic web design
- Can adapt quickly to new situations and is internally motivated
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Team orientation and enthusiasm
- High standards for quality results
- Excellent judgment and common sense
- Ability to solve problems creatively
- Bonus: Experience with motion graphics, web design, or UX/UI
Intern Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and creating content for social media accounts for Laurel Strategies and our clientele.
- Design and execute internal and external visual assets for clients, including social media graphics, infographics, slide decks, official documents, and other visual assets
- Assist in implementing strategic communications plans for our clients via visual storytelling with a deep understanding of key messages and target audiences
- Maintain deadlines while delivering outstanding results
- Work across teams to deliver critical support
- Other projects and tasks as assigned based on interest and need
