As a Storagely UI/UX Designer, you will support the Director of UX in designing and building client websites for our SaaS platform. You will be responsible for repurposing existing designs, developing and modifying Figma wireframes, ensuring quality control, and maintaining design consistency across client projects. Your role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and align designs with business goals. You will also contribute to content placement, website proofing, and innovative design solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Support the Director of UX in designing and building new client websites for our SaaS platform.
- Repurpose existing responsive website themes and designs for new clients.
- Develop and modify wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma.
- Manage content placement, adjusting layouts as necessary to accommodate new content.
- Conduct website proofing, auditing, and quality control pre- and post-launch.
- Maintain style guides and pattern libraries for design consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align designs with business goals.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends and tools to introduce innovative ideas.
- Recreate logos in Adobe Illustrator as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 1-2 years of professional experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Skilled in Figma (or similar tools) for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity designs.
- Familiarity with page builder tools such as Brizy and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Responsive & Mobile Design: Understanding of UI principles and mobile-first, responsive design.
- Design Sensibility: Strong skills in typography, color, imagery, and layout, with the ability to proof/audit websites for design consistency.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to follow clear, multi-step instructions with minimal corrections.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptability: Willingness to accept feedback, improve continuously, and take on new tasks.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
