UI/UX Designer

At wakeb, we are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team passionate about providing superb user experiences. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of our products by designing intuitive and engaging interfaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand user requirements and translate them into compelling designs that enhance usability and functionality. Your creativity and technical skills will guide you in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows while conducting user research and usability testing to ensure our designs resonate with our target audience. Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback for design improvements.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to define user requirements and design specifications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs, preferences, and behaviors through ongoing research.
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides and design systems.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results to ensure optimal usability.
  • Stay current with design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final deliverables.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar applications.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting user feedback effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to various stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
