UX Designer (Entry Level)

This role is an integral part of our efforts. You will advocate for the user, ensuring our digital experiences are a pleasure to interact with. As an Entry-Level UX Designer, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-centered designs. You’ll gain hands-on experience in the entire design process—from user research to wireframing, prototyping, and testing. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to meaningful projects in a supportive environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
  • Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users.
  • Assist in maintaining and contributing to the design system.
  • Stay up-to-date with UX trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • A portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
  • Basic proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A self-starter mindset who is well organized and always looking to improve things.
  • A user-centered mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Comfort with varying levels of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrate ownership of your work, embrace challenges, recognize growth opportunities, and exhibit patience while learning new processes.
  • Practice courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in your collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by company driver policies

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 25% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay.
