Seeking an ambitious and curious UX research and design intern who will contribute to our mission of transforming digital workplace solutions through human-centered design. - Rising Junior or Rising Senior pursing a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to conduct comprehensive user research, including user interviews, concept testing, etc., documenting research methodologies, findings, and design recommendations with precision and clarity.
- Assist in synthesizing research findings, creating personas, journey maps, and detailed research reports that provide actionable insights for development teams.
- Participate in design thinking workshops and design critique sessions, helping to generate and refine concepts for complex enterprise software and hardware experiences.
- Support the design team in creating low-fidelity prototypes using an industry-standard tool (Figma).
- Contribute to the development of design systems and guidelines that maintain consistency across Konica Minolta's digital ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior pursing a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university
- User Research Methods (Required, Basic Level): Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research techniques and ability to design and execute user studies with supervision.
- Design Tools (Preferred, Basic Level): Skills in Figma or equivalent design software, including basic prototyping capabilities.
- Data Analysis (Preferred, Basic Level): Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and interpretation of research data and comfort with spreadsheet and basic data visualization tools.
- Communication (Required, Advanced Level): Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and an ability to present complex research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Empathy and User Observation (Preferred, Intermediate Level): Strong ability to listen and observe user behaviors and pain points and skill in translating user needs into design opportunities.
