This position is open only to candidates residing in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. Relocation is not an option.
Key Responsibilities for this Role:
- As a UX/UI Designer, you'll work closely with our design team, product leads, and engineering partners to develop creative solutions that meet business goals and user needs.
- Develop subject matter expertise for assigned portion of the application.
- Authoring of functional specifications including narrative and light wire frames to shape user experience and product functionality.
- Interact with the Product Management Team to evolve functional specifications into advanced wire frames and mockups.
- Serve as a primary alpha tester of all features within assigned modules as they come out of development.

We are seeking individuals with hands-on product experience, preferably within a commercial software shop.

Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience using Figma, including strong skills in using Variables and Conditions for advanced prototyping.
- Experience using software development task management tools, preferably in Azure.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders to further gather and refine requirements as needed.
- Grasp of user flows, personas, journey mapping, wireframes, low/high fidelity mockups, prototyping.
- Has worked with and/or created Design Systems and can operate within them.
- Understanding of design systems, hierarchy, typography, visual design, responsiveness, accessibility, branding, illustration, data visualization, iconography and interaction design.
- Independent in your support of a cross-functional team and you possess a ‘Product Design’ mindset, owning the end-to-end design delivery.
- Detail-oriented and passionate about visual design and UX, with some experience in information design and user scenarios, digital interaction, design patterns, Website architecture, user interfaces, and navigation on various platforms (Web, mobile, tablet).
- Familiarity with front-end coding technologies and data modeling is a big plus.
- Experience in a SaaS company, preferably within Financial Services, Insurance, Accounting Systems, ERP Systems or similar is highly preferred.
